Dexter the new season if killing it right now
I can't wait till next week's episode. They always set up the next show and then deliver. That is why I quit watching "Lost". They never delivered in my opinion the next episode. They just kept setting each episode up for the next episode and not giving me anything. Dexter delivers every episode. Although I have to be honest I hope at some point Dexter kills his wife. She is getting Adrian from Rocky annoying. Just bringing the man down.
Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.

Rita doesn't meet the code, won't happen.

Trinity might be the best adversary for Dexter yet. Season 3 was a little disappointing in the fact that Miguel Prado didn't really live up to the previous seasons with the Ice Truck Killer and then Sgt. Doakes. The Trinity Killer definitely is at least on the same level as those two.

Really liking this season. Lithgow is much better than Jimmy Smits. Great character.
Agree with the guy who said they wish Dexter would kill his wife. Her scenes just annoy me. Maybe her and Bautista could get together for lunch to talk about Dexter, and then both get murdered by Trinity? That'd be awesome.
Hope they keep that reporter around though, she had some great acting in her big scene this week. -

I can't believe that Dexter is married to his sister on the show Debra in real life. I think she's kind of nasty. I do think it's the best show on TV.

WHY did I just read this thread, don't have showtime so I have started buying the seasons and am starting season 2 tonight.......Oh well, I enjoyed the first season enough, just happy to hear people still talking about the show staying great.

Im glad Lundy finally bought it. Dont wanna think about him and his old balls with Dex's sister. Thought Miguel Prado was a great character. Lots of episodes left, it seems like they divide every season into 2 with major occurances halfway through.

I actually think this season has been the slowest starting yet. It finally started to pick up last week and things really started getting interesting in the last 5 minutes of Sunday's episode. I can't wait to see what happens next - and they still have 7 more episodes!! (Assuming they're still on a 12 episode season)

Re: Dexter the new season if killing it right now
I have a feeling that next week will be a lot of soul searching with Dexter's dad. He just realized that Trinity is an evil twin of himself. He has a wife and children and lives in suburbia. I think that will cause a lot of conflict in Dexter's life to realize how little difference there is between he and Trinity.
Also, now that Trinity has finished his series, will he move on to another city before Dexter has an opportunity to kill him?

I like the thought of the father son connection, but have you seen how Dexter's Dad has changed each season? Harry's character was once trying to be the voice of reason and justification for Dexter's murder - but this last episode he's much more vocal and forceful (ex. "Trinity has to be stopped - and only you can stop him Dex") I think Dexter is slowly mutating Harry's code and is succumbing to his "Dark Passenger" (ex. when he busted the motion sensor lights two episodes ago - that wasn't part of Harry's code). I really think this season could set-up to be a much darker struggle between Dexter, Harry and the Dark Passenger and Dexter may learn something from Trinity... Trinity doesn't have a code and hasn't been caught for 30 years.

I was really hoping Dex's sister would die. She irritates me.

I didn't realize dexter and deb were married in real life. interesting. I was hoping that trinity would go after Rita. I don't want her to die though, she's amazingly hot. I'm am also very interested to see how this season plays out

This season is really good I think. I agree it started a bit slow but now it's really getting interesting after finding out Trinity is a family man like Dexter is now.
