We are getting lots of snow in the Metro right now. I had 3 inches of snow at my place in Littleton when I went to work this morning. We will probably get over a foot by the time this is over. Thankfully, it will all probably be gone by Saturday afternoon...wait..I mean....the weather in Colorado just sucks, sucks I say...:jimlad:
why would anyone want to live here?
southern coloardo had a dusting this mroning, but it's getting heavier now.
thanks for moving, one less car on I-70 now...
seriously, the beauty of CO weather is we'll get this storm, and I guarantee you in less than a week most of it will be gone down here in the cities and we'll be back in the sunny 60s, and running in shorts and a t-shirt will be one of the countless outdoor recreational options. Meanwhile, the snow will be plentiful up in the hills for boarding/skiing etc...
I'm actually impressed the weather folk got this right, they seem to blow a lot of calls here, tricky mountain meteorology. This is being projected as an El Nino (aka "the" Nino) winter... fewer snowfall events, but the ones that hit will be bigger.
it's supposed to be 60 this weekend :)
We had about 5 inches on the ground when I woke up this morning, it has been snowing pretty steady since and is supposed to continue through tomorrow.
If I wasn't so dang busy I know I'd be at A-Basin right now.
The weather sucks here. All you guys back in Iowa enjoy your mild winter. :jimlad:
We've got over 1ft already and it's still going strong.
