Even if 25% of this is true, it is horrible for this league. Something that everyone always accused this league of, could be true afterall.

I'm sure it is true.

During the beginning of Lebron's 3rd year in the leaugue he fouled out of a game. Skip Bayless commented the next day that Lebron wouldn't foul out of a game the rest of his career and that the NBA would not allow it.

I don't think he has. I also don't think Kobe has fouled out of a game the last 3 years except a game that went into 2 OT's.

I've said it before and I'll say it again and again, the NBA is a complete joke. I'm sure there is a lot of truth to that book.

I dont think most people doubt this. I love watching college basketball, but get nothing from nba games. And the season is way too damn long.

I love how so many people are quick to jump all over the NBA for this and give a free pass to other sports

You don't think MLB umps do similiar things? Did anyone watch game 2 of the Yanks and Twins and not think something was fishy in that game?

MLB has a bad steroid problem. NBA now has a problem with bad refs.

NBA players fight and they are thugs. MLB players charge the mound and it is awesome. NFL players fight also and it is awesome. Same for hockey

NBA is much better to watch the last couple years IMO. The great ones still get a ton of calls but they don't get the Jordan treatment either

I don't get too fired up about it. I would not be surprised to have officials from all the major sports say something similar to what Donaghy is saying.

However, they don't get the "Jordan treatment"? Really? Watch Kobe follow through into the defender's face, or better yet LeBron's crab dribble? Which is legal now....

No doubt they get calls. I won't argue that. Lebron is the worst right now. He gets away with a lot.

But they don't compare to MJ. MJ used to get foul calls after his shot hit the rim and missed.

You think the same thing doesn't happen in college? May I remind you of "missed FT-3pt-FT"? Or just about any SEC football game this year?
