Havent seen a thread about it lately. On my way home from work tonight, I stopped into Hy Vee to pick up some Sailor Jerry when I saw that there was a whole shelf of TR. Picked up 3 bottles of that instead! Dunno when this batch was released, but ITS OUT!

also heard they had six bottles at Fareway in Nevada, oops sorry, make it 4 buddy of mine just bought 2.

I remember reading in previous threads that TR puts out extra bottles during the holiday season. If I remember right the next two or 3 months stores will be getting twice their normal amount.

I've seen it alot lately, consistently at the East Euclid Hy Vee and the Ankeny Target. I was in there a while back adn they were wheeling out a couple cases of it to put on the shelves. People were pulling out of boxes on as the cart went down the aisle. I grabbed two bottles. I've seen more of it lately.

I check every grocery store I venture into. It just doesn't hurt to wander down that isle. If I do see a bottle or two, I promise you, I'm leaving with it!

Although production and distribution is not at the levels they were last year at this time, T-Rye has increased their output for the holiday season. Which is good, because I am now the proud owner of 16 bottles of the stuff. Merry Christmas to 15 on my closest friends and relatives.

The last one I bought at HyVee Liquor in Ames came from batch 3, dated July 2009. Have they been on Twitter long enough to announce all three batch releases?

The ones I bought were from Batch 3 Barrel 207 and 288. Both were bottled on October 9th, 2009.

One bottle was for my dad's birthday, one was for my consumption, and the third was for storage!...or desperate times.

I'm going to have to give this stuff a try. The have it priced at a premium rate, but enough of you guys gush about it; I think it's worth a try.

Knob Creek sets the standard for me.

Most places that I've seen it have it in the 36.99-38.99 range.
The easiest place I was always able to get it at was Fareway at 33.99 (I think).
It's a good place to give a shot, happy sipping!
