New cars are getting ugly

Maybe I'm way off but I don't see why anyone would pay good money for one of the new ugly crossovers that are coming out this year.

Why not just make an old school wagon?

I agree that there have always been ugly cars and what is ugly remains in the eye of the beholder. The scion box cars I consider to be ugly as sin but there are a ton of them on the road.

Nissan cube is pretty ugly too. But nothing beats a ford flex for ugliness, well unless they start making the Pontiac Aztec again.

To answer the original question of who would pay good money for the BMW: people who want everyone to know they paid good money for the BMW.

The BMW isn't good looking, but the Honda is downright stupid looking. Maybe it's just that picture, but the proportions seem way off.
