    Random farm map question

    Does anyone know how I can pull up a map of a farm and then order it in a poster size print . I have messed around with several satelitte map places, but I just cant figure it out. Thanks.

    Kinkos? Well wait, do you have the map or do you need that too?

    You may check with your local Iowa State Extension office.

    look here for aerials. some are good, some are not. Iowa Geographic Map Server

    GIS Data - Aerial Photography, USGS Topo Maps, & Air Photo Maps

    you can order a printed map by selecting the state, town, etc.

    Here is a photographer in Ames that does aerial photography. $190 an hour. Seems fairly reasonable. I'm sure it would give you a better end product than enlarging from google.

    I am a pilot, so I could always take the photo myself, but I was just looking for something easy. Thanks for all of the help.

    Go to Office Max to get the prints. Way cheaper than Kinkos
    We got a photo blown up to 24x36 for about $40. It was over $100 at Kinkos, for worse quality.
