I'm sure it can be had on dvd or even youtube.

Re: WWII In HD
Was thumbing through the channels last night and watched WWII in HD for about 2 hours. Very good to watch.

Re: WWII In HD
I saw a brief ad for this the other day, but didn't catch when it was on. I'll have to watch for it and set my DVR. -
Re: WWII In HD
This was good stuff. It really put me in the mood for my end-of-the-year vacation days, where I usually make time to watch Band of Brothers all the way through. For anyone who hasn't seen that series, I can't recommend it highly enough.

Re: WWII In HD
Nothing real special here since I had a candy bar sized recorder but here are a few minutes in Normandy. At about 2:30 you'll see point de huc and 15 foot bomb craters.
Utah beach first, then point de huc, then Omaha, and last the American cemetary.

Re: WWII In HD
The guy hanging from the church is in The Longest Day and is a true story.

Re: WWII In HD
The canon that is shown at 1:50 is at point du hoc and was taken out by the Rangers (1st mission by Rangers) because it could hit the beaches 20 miles away.

Yes, episodes 1-10, plus the show about prostitution after episode 10.
Not only was the footage awesome, so were the stories. Magnificent job, History Channel!
