"The Blind Side"

I saw this movie this afternoon and came away very, very impressed. Great story, very heart-warming and inspirational without being overly preachy or sappy. Sandra Bullock gives a great performance and also, it must be added, looks smokin' hot in it as well.

Wasn't there a Ole Miss line man that has a similar story? I think its pretty neat.

Sandra is probably my favorite actress of them all. One, because she gives off that "girl you'd love to hang out with" and two, she does a phenomenal job of adapting to whichever role she takes on and does it convincingly. I'm anxious to see this movie

Its ironic that Ole Miss gets Blind Sided by a Klan rally this weekend, their whole alumni base is embarrassed on the weekend the movie comes out.

The NCAA bit only involved a small portion of the story but they did come off in a bad light.

As well they should, IMO. They are an organization bereft of a conscience or soul, or logical or coherent thought. Screw 'em.

I just saw this movie over the weekend. If you are feeling down in the dumps, go see this movie. It will pick you right up.

I almost hate to call it a sports movie, because "playing football" is not what the movie is about.

I noticed Oher is playing right tackle for the Ravens. After reading the book and the big deal they made about him being the perfect left tackle I wondered what happened. Is he just breaking in at right with a future move to left or is Flacco left-handed?

Finally just saw this, and would recommend it to anyone. Great movie, and makes you realize how much you can really do to help people. Well worthwhile, I can see why it won awards.
