    Re: The droid anyone?

Sell me on a Droid versus an i-Phone. What are the advantages/disadvantages?

    Re: The droid anyone?

I have been with AT&T for the past 4 or 5 years because I used to travel quite a bit overseas and their international network was better. I seriously considered an iPhone but the smartphone I have had the past few years with AT&T rarely picked up 3G coverage unless I was in a city. Verizon's network has significantly better 3G coverage which was a major factor for me.

The other factors for me was how amazing the GPS functionality is with Droid using Google Maps. This is amazing and is only going to get better as Google continues to improve Google Maps.

The other things I liked was how easy it is to sync my Outlook on my home and work computers with Google's Calendar and Contacts keeping my Droid updated all of the time. iPhone may be able to do the same, but I was more comfortable using Google's available products.

I love my Droid so far!

Shop Savvy is a pretty sweet app. Google Goggles is going to be amazing once they get more images in their database.

I definitely recommend installing Dolphin Browser. It adds tabbed viewing and pinch zoom. Pretty much like going from IE to Firefox.

Can you setup the droid to get email from OWA like a Blackberry can?
