Why Russell Why?(Survivor Rant)

Why take the risk of t-ing off Shambo just to get rid of John? If she flips again you will be in trouble and you have just lost a jury vote. I thought that it was the dumbest move he has made so far. Now I have to wait seven more days before I find out what happens. This is the best Survivor in a while. A head to head battle of Shambo and Russell would be cool to see.

So far every move he has made has been right. I would bet Shambo goes next or John. This guy knows what is up. I will not challenge his decisions any longer.

Like Russell says, just get Shambo mad at the person you want voted out and stand out of the way. She's clueless as far as gameplay is concerned.

A) I don't think he makes the final 2/3 because I don't think anyone would want to go to a final jury against him.

B) I think there's a better than 50% chance he gets blindsided without playing his idol.

I think it was a smart move. John is a bigger threat than Dave and Shambo is a moron. The clip last night at tribal where Jeff even laughed at her when she was clueless that everyone else was strategizing was classic. Russel will get her back on their side and say Dave is next because she won't be siding with Dave in a vote I'm sure. She'll make it to the top 5 or 6 then get voted out when she is no longer needed.

As for Russel, I don't think it's a slam dunk that he'd win if he makes the final 2 because I think he'll tick off too many in the process. Pretty sure that most of the old Galu won't vote for him and he's bound to back stab Mick or Jaison here soon too. I'd like to see him win it though, he's played the game smarter than anyone before so far I think.

Because Shambo is an idiot. Notice how every vote there are TWO clueless people? The person who got blindsided and Shambo. Shambo votes with her heart, not her head. They'll be just fine.

I agree. Russell had (3) votes in the Bag (Hot Blonde and Shambo). Now he only has one. Look for Russell to get voted off next week, but he has the idol so maybe the Hot Blond will go.

Unless Russell get immunity in the last challenge, I see no way he goes to the final two/three (whatever it is this season). Who in their right mind would take him...well, aside from Shambo. Russell is an amazing player. Couldn't stand him at first, then I realized how flawless of a game he was playing.

I wouldn't say it's a slam dunk, but maybe a five footer

It's very rare that a dominant player even makes the final council, but when they do they win.

Obviously it depends on who he is going up against but I think right now he gets a majority of Galu's votes if the other person/people he is up against are not former Galu members excluding Shambo.

Actually, out of all the players I think Shambo has the least chance of winning. She's stabbed her team in the back and she's a moron when it comes to strategy. The most deserving player doesn't always win, but I've yet to see a Survivor where a bad player has won.

I think most people are of this opinion. At first he came across as just someone who was going to stir up crap the whole time and cause havok for his team. That was not a smart move but it didn't hurt him.

After that mess he's really played an incredible game. I said this in another thread, but it's the smartest game I can remember. Tom (the NYC firefighter) sticks in my mind because if I remember right he led a group that pretty much dominated the game but it was still a solid group of people. What Russell is doing is unprecedented. He doesn't quite have Ruperts ability to just dominate challenges though. That may end up being his weakness.

Normally I wouldn't watch this show but this whole thing with Dumbo has me watching each week just to see if they boot her ***. When they don't I just get ****** off and end up watching next week hoping for the same results. And thus the cycle begins.

Rusell will get a lot of votes. People tend to vote for whoever plays the game the best.

Another great episode tonight. Damn I love this guy, cocky enough to put the idol out right at the start of tribal discussion, doesn't play it and not 1 single vote for him! I think they vote him out before the final 3/2 if he doesn't win the last immunity challenge but he's played this game better than anyone ever has I think.

I agree. This show is one of the best on TV these days and Russell is the most fascinating character in the shows history imo. Can't wait for next week!

I dont see any way Russell gets to the final the way hes going now. He shouldnt have told anyone about his job, shouldnt have gotten ****** off about people talking about it after, and shouldnt have made a show about putting on the immunity necklace. There are too many people left in the game for all that to go unpunished I think.
