That would have made my top 15.

Most definitely true....Both make my top 5. I'll sit down and really crank out a good top 10 here after the Office.

The first time I heard 10,000 Days was while I was pre-gaming for Dave Attell's performance at Veishea 2006. Vicarious and Jambi just blew me away the first time I heard it.

White Blood Cells just had too much filler for me. It was the album that got me into Jack White, but I think it's the 2nd weakest White Stripes album ("Get Behind Me Satan" is pretty meh). "S/T" and "De Stijl" have lots of good blues, and "Elephant" and "Icky Thump" are on whole different plane.

As far as Wilco, it's hard to argue with "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot", but "A Ghost is Born" just hits harder to me.

I saw My Morning Jacket play Hilton in '04 before I even knew anything about them. Pretty cool and a really good band.

Glad to see that "Funeral" is getting some love. It's definitely one of my picks. Some others that jump to mind when I think back are Radiohead's "Kid A", The Streets' "Original Pirate Material", "Stankonia", Wilco's "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot". There's obviously a lot to choose from.

    Re: Albums of the Decade...

This drove me near insanity. This is my top 5...I think. There are probably about 25 albums or so that I could call out, but these 5 are where its at for me.

    My Top 5:

    TOOL: Lateralus
    TOOL: 10,000 Days
(I could listen to both on repeat for the rest of my life and never get tired of it. AEnima is my all time TOOL favorite, but a bit out of range for the decade)
NIN: The Fragile (1999 so it barely makes the cut)
Kanye: College Dropout (Whether you like it or not, it changed the game)
Radiohead: Kid A (I credit this album to opening a many of doors for me)

    Honorable Mention:
    Up: Peter Gabriel

The Coup - Pick a Bigger Weapon

Disagree. BBS sounded like a loose "supergroup". Consolers sounds like a unified band, firing on all cylinders, kicking *** and taking names. Just my opinion of course.

This is probably just a personal preference...but "Toxicity" by System of a Down was an amazing album.

Jambi still blows me away when I listen to it. Such a perfect song. Even better live.
