Sub City in Cedar Falls is great. Perfect drunk food. Are there more Sub Citys around Iowa?
Asking for a toasting level is bad? They usually burn mine, so I always ask for half toasted.
Ordering a salad? This seems easier than making a sandwich. You don't have to cut the bread, the rest are basicly toppings.
Is the chicken pizziola difficult to make or is it just because the name is ********?
Hungry Hobo - I don't know if there are any outside of the Quad Cities...but mmmm
Chicken Pizziola sucked because it had like 3 more steps than a regular sandwich. Now this was before the toasters became really prevalent at Subway, so its probably better now. But back when you had to microwave, all the chicken strip sandwiches sorta sucked because of the wait slowing down the line, but the pizziola was by far the worst.
Don't get me started on the few months we had salmon. Due to food poisoning concerns we had to use separate knives for the sandwiches. We also had to cook the salmon in the toaster and then toast the actual sandwich. Took forever.
The other two:
Wedge cut isn't so bad, but none of those kids have ever had to do one and the people who ask for them are always so damn picky about how its done and not gracious at all.
The stamps...I worked the summer they ended the stamps and I swear every senior citizen within a 10 mile radius of our store waited until the week after the grace period ended to come to subway and try to unload two decades worth of old stamps.
