    DM area furnace repair

I live in Ankeny, and I've dealt with 72 Degrees on a couple of occasions. I have a furnace that's about 3 years old, and they can't seem to get a simple repair right. They've been out twice since late last January to replace the ignitor, which seems to have gone bad again overnight.

I called them early this AM, but they refused to waive the afterhours fee to come out and get it right. I'm going to speak with the most senior individual available after they open to give them one last opportunity before I take my business elsewhere for good and begin bad-mouthing them from here to eternity.

    In the meantime, any recommendations?

Not a furnace guy, but the ignitors I have replaced at moms rental houses are hit or miss with how long they last.

One place has been fine for years now. Another ignitor at a different house gets replaced once a year. Both are virtually the same brand furnace installed around the same time.

I live in Ankeny too and had new furnace and ac put in a few years ago by Bell Brothers. They seemed to do a good job and no problems.

I manage some commercial property in the Des Moines area and have had good service from Wyckoff, Thrashers, and Polk County H&C.
