Someone told me today you need a passport to fly domestically starting 1.1.10 if your state has not switched to the new drivers liscences in accordance with the national ID act. Can anyone confirm or deny?
I used to fly with my state ID/key card, just because it's always on my belt and thus easy to grab. Couple years ago that ended because the picture ID must have an expiration date. So, maybe whoever you talked to doesn't have a driver's license, etc, and their passport was the only thing that met criteria.
"It's a jungle out there kiddies. Have a very fruitful day.
