Track Phones

Does anybody have any experience with these? We've got one phone through US Cellular that has a cheap plan from about 10 years. I'm not sure if we'll ever be able to add a phone without changing the plan.

I've read Track phones are some of the best values to be had but am uncertain what company to look at with decent coverage?

You mean a TracFone? I had one about eight years ago. I intensely hated it because you had to buy minutes every month or two to keep your phone active (which seemed to defeat the purpose of a pay as you go system). I let mine expire after a year. About five years ago I tried another TracFone because they were selling refurbished ones cheap. My refurbished phone died after about a week. I got a replacement, it also died after a week, and I haven't tried TracFone since then.
