PC Computer assistance
One of the CD/DVD drives stopped working. Just now looking into it and see that under "My Computer", the drive is not being noted. So, is this as simple as a plug that has come loose or perhaps the drive has died? How do you suggest this be diagnosed.

Re: PC Computer assistance
I am glad you figured it out- this used to happen to me every once in a while. On a side note: if an internal card reader doesn't power on, it is because of static electricity buildup. Simply shut off the power supply switch and hold in the main power switch for 30 seconds. this fixes the static electricity, restart, and it recognizes the card reader. That fix took me many threads of google to read before I found a thread from 2001 that explained it!
