Good god. Five CIML schools - Dowling, Roosevelt, SE Polk, Marshalltown and Fort Dodge - changed their regular Tues. night games to tonight so their scorer's table and concessions workers could watch their Hawks in the Orange Bowl.
Me thinks it's really about attendance concerns...

Hmm, seems a little over the top. I'd completely understand this if Iowa was playing for a national title but that's not the case.
Oh well.
The school district where I work did the same....buuuuut, it is James Vandenburg's school high school, so I guess that's an okay reason.
I wonder if they would due the same thing if Iowa State was in a BCS game. My guess would be no.
