80/35 from Johnston to the west mixmaster is BAAAAAAAD. All ice and a lot of people driving pretty fast until they see people in the ditch. If I touched the throttle my traction control light came on. Even at times going 30mph and not touching the accelerator my stability control was kicking in.
Once I got on 235 it wasn't as bad because there is more snow on it. I was driving about 35-40 on 235.
Ditch count on the 3 or 4 miles of 80/35
2 of those vehicles looked like they just happened.
Drove from around 50th St in WDM on 235 to downtown. It took me about 45 minutes. Didn't see many accidents, but the roads were not good. Very icy and snow packed. I felt comfortable driving no faster than 25 or so and neither did anyone else. The drive home will be terrible.
