That would be my #1 choice. I usually use a 10" non-slider on my rental properties because it's easier to drag along. It's kind of a pain with a 10" but if you're creative, you can make it work, and it's still much easier than using a circular or jig saw.
Harbor Freight makes an affordable 8" compound sliding model which isn't that expensive. Then you can do trim work as well.

It will cut 10" wide at a 45 degree angle and 12" at 90 degrees. A much better deal than the $550 I dumped on my Dewalt 12" slider.
