Play b-ball or watch b-ball?
I need some input. Should I go play b-ball in our weekly pick-up night or should I go to the gym earlier and run then stay in and watch the ISU game? I'm torn right now. -

Personally, I don't miss out on the pickup basketball unless I'm out of town or attending the game in person. The DVR is your friend. For everything else, there's Cyclone Fanatic.

I have never, ever, felt like my lungs were going to explode while watching basketball, so I'm going with that one. I'm old, and half court is now too far. -

I've been choosing rec league over watching the majority of the year...

do you have ESPN360.com with your internet package? If so you can watch it afterwards, just don't check the scores or CF prior...
If ISU loses, you'll think "dang, I coulda had fun and played hoops instead of watching this crap..." but if they win, you can still watch it while fulfilling your own endeavor/hobby.
I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. I would play and then watch it later, unless your pickup game is just a ton of chuckers that will frustrate you.

What will you get more out of? I'd go with playing instead of watching.

ESPN360.com is just ridiculous in convenience and allowing me, living in Colorado, to see darn near every game this season. For some reason though, the Texas game was blacked out live, but then available afterwards. Bizarre.
