Yah because when I'm in South Beach Burger King is the place I'm going.

Even if they started serving beer in all of the BK restaurants it would still be a 90 mile drive for me to get to their nearest restaurant.
If I remember correctly, both BK and McDonalds have served bier and vino in France since they opened restaurants there.

Re: Burger King...My new favorite
Fast food places in Europe have been selling beer since they got there. In Spain, McDonald's serves Estrella Damm and Burger King serves Mahou (the worst foreign beer in the world). Plus, it's cheaper than water by a long shot... A nice, cold, extra-large cerveza really hit the spot when I skipped the bus and instead spent 40 minutes walking through the 110-degree sunshine to get home from school in the afternoon. One of those, and you had a pretty respectable buzz going on until dinner! True and Valiant
I also remember a game with Kansas when Cy (wore a huge suit then) went out to center field, squatted, and "pooped" a couple of chickens that had been dyed blue then chased them around.

They used to sell beer at Long John Silvers. In the mid 70's in Iowa, bars were not open on Sunday unless food sales was a certain part of their revenue. We would stop by Long John Silvers for a quick couple of beers.

In Omaha, they have a fast food place called Don & Millie's where they serve Budweiser products in bottles and margaritas. It used to be $1 for anything alcoholic, but recently increased to $1.50, which is still a good deal.

Nothing went better with that deep fried everything than a beer.
I'm also told you could get it through the drive thru, but I can't confirm that.
