Any country music fans out there?

I'm big into country music. This summer I discovered Eric Church and let me tell you, the dude is freaking awesome. He's coming to Des Moines in March. Great on the guitar...sings some nice redneck songs, which I like, being I am from the sticks.

Just wondering if I was out on an island as far as that is concerned.?.?.?

I am a big fan of him. A lotta college kids like him, I bet that would be a great concert...do you know of anyone else performing with him?

Eric Church is great. He's an up-and-comer. I don't know if he's ever going to get to Kenny Chesney level stardom, but I don't think it's long before he's going to be headlining a tour.

I like Church alot... REALLY looking forward to Jason Aldean at Hilton though.

You know what I think I like the most about Church? It is like he doesn't even want to be that Kenny Chesney level of a star...you know? He just does his own thing.

I kind of like country, but growing up in Fort Dodge, I really can't relate to it so I feel kind of toolish when I listen to it. I do know a lot of Church fans though.

Another country music fan here Chris. Not familar with Eric Church yet. Just went to Brad Paisley the other week and waiting to see what the George and Reba tickets are going to cost as the wife would really love to see them in concert.

EC is good. I grew up on country and still listen to it today. A few years ago thanks to myspace music pages, I discovered a whole new world of country music. Cross Canadian Ragweed who opens for Dierks Bentley a lot. Reckless Kelly, Jackson Taylor, Jason Boland, Stoney Larue ect.. Now I go to Texas Music for the Country. They have there own music charts for the state and generally whats popular down there, they don't play on radio here for many reasons. Youtube the bands and you'll find a lot of music you love that you've never heard of.

Eli Young Band is good, another Texas band. They've been around awhile it's nice to see them starting to get national exposure. They use to tour w/ Robert Earl Keen and Pat Green a few years ago.

I've heard a little of Eric Church and liked what I heard. I also think Eli Young Band will make it too. I wish I could go to that Aldean concert, he's quickly becoming one of my favorite artists.

Chris have you heard Jake Owen's stuff? I have his latest cd and absolutely love it. Can easily listen to it all the way through. He's the guy that sings 8 second ride in case that helps.
