Going to Cancun -- Resort Suggestions
I've made the decision to go to Cancun for my honeymoon in May. I am doing this through a travel agent back home. I want a nice, affordable, all-inclusive resort. Here are the ones that she sent me. I wanted to know if any of you have been to any of these or if you had any suggestions.
Barcelo Costa Cancun
Oasis Palm
Barcelo Tucancun
Oasis Cancun
Oasis viva
Great Parnassus

My company took us to Playa Mujeres and it was AWESOME! It was a bit more secluded which I thought was nice, but if you were thinking you and your bride were looking to hit up some downtown nightlife it might not be for you.

Your company took you to Cancun, as in the place where you work?!

Look at the Palace Resorts (Sun, Moon, Cancun, and Beach) All-inclusive and there are the four properties in Cancun so you can change things up a little (bars, restaurants, etc.) if you want. We stayed at the Sun Place on our honeymoon.
Recommended day trips: Isla Mujares and Chichen Itza.

If you're interested in something adventurous of something like zip-lining I'll send you the website of the place we went. It was very cool and the offered a variety of activity packages.

I am going to Cancun/Riviera Maya in May as well. Right now the consensus is the Catalonia Riviera Maya Resort.
Can't wait, been to Mexico once and it was a blast.

Recommended day trips: Isla Mujares and Chichen Itza. My wife and I are going to the Palace in Cozumel in April. The Palace resorts seem to get good reviews on Expedia, tripadvisor, travelocity, etc. You always find someone who give a place one star and absolutely hated it. However, most reviews were very positive.
