Hoosiers and The Natural are my definite top 2, all the rest in no particular order.
1. Hoosiers
2. Remember the Titans
3. The Rookie
4. Field of Dreams
5. The Program
The first four are the inspirational movies. I love to show these to the kids I coach. They really send a good message about never giving up. The Program is a great one. It show maybe what college football might be like.

running man.
if that isn't a sport, then i don't know what is
I see a lot of the sports movies I enjoy on the various lists...most are for the "major sports". One I have not noticed on any list is the recent movie...The Blind Side...very good movie.
But, I agree with your listing of The Cutting Edge...I really like this movie. Especially at the end when Kate tells Doug that they are going to do the Pamchenko in their routine because she is "ready to kick a little *****".
Has to be Miracle. The greatest sports moment captured perfectly.
"If we played them 10 times they might win 9, but not now, not today"
Fast Break starring Gabe Kaplan:wink:
We Are Marshall is pretty good as well.
I agree with Vision Quest.
What about Days of Thunder?
Does the snowboarding in Out Cold classify it as a sports movie?
Field of Dreams
I figured I was the only person on the planet who has seen Prefontaine...
I'll always sit down and watch The Replacements too.
