Denver flight firesale

Just an FYI, Southwest Airlines is having a huge sale on flights in and out of Denver. Pretty much to anywhere they fly, through July. I've found flights in and out of Omaha for $30 each way in April and May. If you're looking to book flights, now would be a good time. Sale ends Thursday night.

If you want to come to Ft Collins the last weekend of June for the Brewfest, PM me and we can become beer friends

I wish SWA flew out of Cedar Rapids! CID has the worst fares in the nation...or at least it sure seems that way!

Unless you use allegiant, than you can usually get a good rate.

Cedar Rapids is terrible. I personally make the drive to Moline when I fly (about twice/month for work). Several of my co-workers do the same, and I work in Marion. The fares are usually at least $200-$300 cheaper out of MLI. There's no reason for the difference other than the presence of AirTran in Moline.

This is what I do as well! Even Des Moines has cheaper flights than CID! Two summers ago my wife, sis-n-law and myself flew out of DSM to Orange County instead of CID because together we saved $700+! There is no reason for this!

Actually we saved money on a fall trip to Rochester, NY from Cedar Rapids, even with a motel stay there the night before. (6:30 a.m. flight) We checked DSM, KCI, OMA, MSP, too.

But, yes, I really wish SWA was in more Iowa airports.

Trust us...that was definetly an exception and not the rule.

And if the baggage cart hits the plane and you have to wait 8 hours for a plane to come in from Vegas to fly you out they will give you a $25 credit on your next flight!
