Re: The that have had a Vasectomy
First, be certain you do not want to father any more children.
Next, the valium is solid & I would not have done it without. My wife said I was joking with the Doc (I went to a surgeon, no family doc - that is a good idea, too. Surgeon or Urologist, no family Doc). My best was, "those are big hedge clippers, Doc!" or "yeah, my wife is here. She was wondering if you could throw another inch or two in there."
Second, don't wink at the Doc's assistant and say, "What do you think?"
Frozen peas or ademame work afterword. If you could have it done, I would do it the day before the NCAA tournament's first weekend.
Last, I was required to donate mass quantities to an area sperm bank. It involves some government super soldier project or somethin like that...

Re: The that have had a Vasectomy
My doctor kept talking non-stop to the nurse about his recent vacation to Spain. I wanted to sit up and tell him to pay attention to what he was doing!! But I figured it would not be a good timeto get mouthy with The doctor was talking nonstop to the nurse during mine also. I learned that he was from the same town as my mom, and had dated my aunt. I told him I hoped for my sake that they broke up on friendly terms, he laughed so hard he had to stop for a minute.
I had no problems except for a little discomfort and some crazy bad swelling.

My wife says I need to get it done but I'm scared as hell. I will have to get a week worths of valium leading up to it.
Can you get a discount if you said Chris Williams sent me? Get it done. A quick snip here and a quick snip there, two days with a bag of frozen peas and your wife bringing you beer because of what you did.
The real bonus comes when your wife's sex drive goes up after getting off birth control. -

Re: The that have had a Vasectomy
I did the no scalpel version from Iowa Clinic. It was completely painless, and was over in 15 min.
2 days of light activity and I was back jogging on day 3. I did a 10M run a week later, it was just no big deal.

Re: The that have had a Vasectomy
Right now I have 2 young girls about 20 months apart. If my wife allows me to touch her again and we have another girl, it's something I might consider.
On the other hand, I'm only 27 and wouldn't want to do it when I'm to young (in case I trade my wife in for a younger model and want to plant my seed in a 20 year old when Im 50 )
