Well...since you put the poll up...summer olympics, because there is rowing.

I like different events in each Olympics.
For summer, I really like track and field, weightlifting, and gymnastics (if there is a local in there)
For winter, I really like skiing and snowboarding events, and some other random events.
I enjoy more winter events. The only summer events I really enjoy is swimming, after that there are several that I kind of like. One thing is for sure, winter Olympics are much more danagerous. I can't wait for ice skating basketball.
When I was a kid, it was one of the things the whole family did together - watching the Olympics. Often we didn't even know the rules of the sport (equestrian? luge?) but we learned together appreciated the competition.
Some athletes practice all their lives to come in 17th in one event, while others are able to win multiple medals, or compete in multiple Olympiads.
I know it's not everybody's cup of tea. Some folks don't like the Olympics at all. I know that episode of The Simpsons isn't going to watch itself.
