    Where can I find one in central Iowa? Loved robins but it's shuttered now.

    I recommend Pisano's down by Yankee Stadium. Newman raves about them all the time. It's on his mail route.

    Can't help you out other to say that given Des Moines' large Italian population and corresponding number of local Italian restaurants, I'd find it hard to believe there aren't several excellent options.

    Noahs? Chucks? Gino's? Latin King? Tumea & Son's? Someone must be able to help this brother out.
