I didn't have to work today and I finally got my buddies brewing equipment to my house so I did 2 homebrew batches today. One was a Dunkelweiss and the other was a black cherry stout. The stout has 8oz of cherry extract that needs to be put in when the priming sugar is added before bottling. I am pretty excited to get this going. I've got an extra hopped amber ale to get going once I get these in the secondary fermenter on Sunday. I don't know if I'll get another kit to get going right away or not. After these three kits I might be low on bottles so I need to keep stockpiling those too. Just wondering if anyone else has any brews going on at home right now?
The last time I made my own beer I lived on Campus avenue. Went home for the weekend and my roomies drank it when I was gone.... :( Frog if you are out there somewhere, I want a 24 pack of Brown Ale to replace that batch! :)

I've found that you won't get much flavoring from just one of those 8 oz bottles of extracts. I made an Apricot Amber and put (2) 8 oz bottles in and finally got what I was looking for.
Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?
