Who fixes luggage?
Have a wheeled Delsey laptop bag that has worn extremely well except for the wheel that shredded out. I've tried to contact Delsey about it, and that's been useless. I've looked in the yellow pages, also useless. There's no obvious way to change out the wheel.
Having to carry around a wheeled laptop bag is ridiculous - and heavy.
Anyone know of a place in central or eastern Iowa that fixes luggage?

Des Moines Shoe & Luggage

I take my shoes there a couple times a year to have them cleaned, repaired and polished, they do a great job.

Re: Who fixes luggage?
I hated non- or difficult to repair luggage so I ponied up some cash and now just buy Eagle Creek.
All you need is standard tools and you can repair a wheel or whatever. Which up to now is just theoretical, since I've yet to actually break one, they are so well built.

I'll second the repair shop on 5th st. I took a bag in there and they did a great job of repairing a broken strap and fixing a hole.
