Who cares, they got a free Salad. If someone gave me a free meal, I could care less if they apologized, as I'm pretty sure they didn't mean to put that hair in there to begin with. What a bunch of overindulgent, self-righteous, weenies.

Re: Legends story to be researched by KCCI
So what is the bottom line?
Someone got a hair in their salad.
An over-stressed rest. manager with some personal issues going on loses his cool.
A (should be) disinterested thrid party starts an e-mail campaign.
The story gets picked up by KCCI and msnbc.
Is that about it?
Darn! I've got a headache from reading this thread and there goes 20 minutes of my life that I will never get back. Everyone is entitled to their opinion - no matter how wrong they may be. -

I've gotten bad service...and had bad meals. I just don't go back. I don't have to write an email or talk with manager or owner...don't have to get confrontational with the staff...I just do biz elsewhere.
It's not my job or these folk's job to fix his establishment. They got a free meal...that was the resolution...you're not paying for anything at that point and not a customer. Let it be. Yep, i agree. -

Re: Legends story to be researched by KCCI
I realize im late to this thread but I thought of a story about my run in w/ the owner of legends. I was out one night and heading to Legends to eat. Walked up the alley east of the place and there was a door we thought was the back door and ok to go in. Turns out it was a hallway that went past the offices, we realized our mistake and went back out the way we came, walked in the front door so all is well right? Well I guess not, the owner freaks and comes running out of the back screaming at us in the middle of the restraunt for walking in the back door. He then threatened me to which I laughed, and kicked us out. We went next door to what was Mickeys at the time, he follows us in there and tried to get us kicked out of the entire building. I see why he might be upset but we clearly were not fing around just trying to get in, he has some rage issues. On the other hand, teachers were prob trying to get something for nothing as usual. :)

Re: Legends story to be researched by KCCI
Sorry to bring this back to the front page, but did anyone call Legends and let them know that there is a State Wrestling Tournament this week/weekend. I wouldn't want them to be understaffed. If they hate teachers showing up they're really going to hate a bunch of wrestlers, parents and high school kids showing up unannounced.
