I agree with Tom Watson's comments about Tiger on the course. He would know! I agree he acts spoiled..its like he said in the presser, he was acting like he was entitled to anything and everything.
I think the main reason people dont like him is the same reason people dont like the Yankees and the Lakers - because they always win. Although I like Tiger, but hate the Yanks and Lakers.

Re: ***official tiger woods presser thread***
If that wasn't the most scripted and coreographed "press conference" err prepared one sided speech I have ever seen then I don't know what qualifies. He got up there and said absolutely nothing. That was so meandering it was unreal, I'm sorry...but we gotta help these kids get an education....it's all my fault....leave my family alone. Dude's gotta realize that his choice of lifestyle has put his family in the spotlight.
I got the feeling the whole time he would never of been up there if someone hadn't finally forced him too. This would be why it has taken him so long to say nothing. What a tool, I don't know how anyone can support this guy.

I loved/love watching Tiger because he was/is so good at his profession. But at the same time when that South Korean was beating him...I rooted for that guy because the "underdog" story was tremendous! Tiger brings a lot to the world of golf...even when he is trailing on the leaderboard! I just don't like the guy for his behaviors (off and sometimes on) the playing field.

So its fair for the media to explain to the public where a 3 yr old kid goes to school?! Especially in this day and age with a bunch of creeps out there?

The point I was making is that has nothing to do with what this was supposed to be about. The media's mistakes are a discussion for another time and place. This was supposed to be an apology, not a blame game.

I've not seen him recently w/o his hat. Looks like he could get a sponsership with Rogaine or Hair Club for men.

Re: ***official tiger woods presser thread***
The speech was obviously written by him and was all over the place as he kept thinking of new things and adding them, instead of keeping things in order and rewriting.
His legal team had to edit to keep him from getting specific and admitting things that could be later used against him in a law suit, or a divorce proceeding.
This speech in a way sounded like what would be required as part of a 12 step program, and as such made me very uncomfortable, and might be why many of you think of it as a "tool" or phony. That is one of the requirements to face up to the wrongs and admit to the wrongs .
A very hard place to be put in, even worse in public on national t v!

If he would have said that, you know Gene Simmons would have his own press release in about 5 minutes. No way has Tiger shagged more women than the Demon!

No one watches Dr. Drew?? Sex Rehab? Drug Rehab? If not, you're missing some great entertainment.

I always knew he was a slime, and all this stuff just confirms it.

I just hope he was being genuine and that his statement about wanting to put back together what is most important to him, his family! That I admire...of course he has a lot of work to do in that regards as losing the trust of your spouse can be a difficult thing to overcome!
