That was the one thing in the whole press conf that I actually agreed with Tiger about. Kids should always be off limits and people that go after them are some of the lowest scum on the earth. I think Tiger has the right at anytime to go after people that are going after his kids. I was glad to hear Tiger tell people to leave his kids alone.

Take that away and I think his golf game suffers tremendously. The guy looks like GMAC now.... totally defeated. His golf game may never be the same again. TRA #13 -

This speech in a way sounded like what would be required as part of a 12 step program, and as such made me very uncomfortable, and might be why many of you think of it as a "tool" or phony. That is one of the requirements to face up to the wrongs and admit to the wrongs .
A very hard place to be put in, even worse in public on national t v!
Seemed like a State of the Union address.
He chose not to say:" I came, I saw, I conquered."

Not a lot of people are shocked but it was definitley the wrong way to go about it. He is not the president of the united states, he's a golfer. Get up there speak from the heart and apologize for what you did if you genuinely are sorry. You don't need a prepared speech for that.

Anyone who thinks he owes an apology to his fans and/or fellow golfers is crazy.
