Re: GM Vehicles
I drive a 2007 Impalla for work and I have been pleasantly surprised with it. I still don't think I'd buy one on my own, but it's not as bad as i thought it would be. It rides smooth, good gas mileage. I don't like the interior design and controls but got used to them. I'm getting a 2010 Impalla in the next month so we'll see how that goes. I'm a big Honda/Acura fan so it's hard for me to fall in love with a Chevy product too much.

Re: GM Vehicles
IMO, you need to test drive/consider the 2010 Buick Lacrosse. My favorite GM car not named Corvette or CTS-V. 2010 LaCrosse | Luxury Sport Sedan | CX, CXL, CXS | Buick -

It would be a lot better bragging if I had pictures and mod lists and what not.

It would be a lot better bragging if I had pictures and mod lists and what not. The "I drive two corvettes" comment is pretty arrogant. The guy just wanted to know if GM cars are reliable. You decided to let everyone know you have two high class sports cars. You are so cool. -

My 2006 Impala is a nice comfortable ride. I'm very satisfied with it. I drive a lot of rental cars and so I've driven pretty much everything Toyota, Ford, and GM have. I think the Impala is the best of that mid-size car range. I've started asking specifically for an Impala. I don't get how the Malibu and some of these Toyota's are rated higher than an Impala. It's a nice roomy car with a good interior layout.

It's the most comfortable car I've had. We moved up to it from a shorter Cavalier that I really enjoyed, but couldn't handle after 12-hour days of standing, then climbing up our apartment stairs (yes, we have a 2-story apartment) to go to bed or the bathroom.
It took care of being a taller car, and I just love it from a comfort standpoint. I imagine that I'd feel the same about a Malibu.
