I just bought a 32 GB I-Pod, primarily to play video on when I'm traveling and such. I'm pretty much married to my blackberry for my calendar and email, but I've been unable to run any significant video on it, unless it's through youtube. I'd like to be able to actually watch a tv show or movie on something small that I can take with me. I wondering if I should have bought the 64 GB I-Pod instead. Any experience with this? Any advice?

I'm kind of an iPod geek, so I ordered my touch when they first came out - the only options at that time were the 16GB and the 32GB (maybe it was 8 and 16?). I went with the bigger one, as I already had the iPod Video that was bigger. I generally store all of the movies/shows that I want to watch on the Video, but the touch is absolutely sufficient for a season or so of TV shows - just maintain it. Remove shows/movies that you're done watching, and then put new ones on. You should have room for that and a considerable amount of music.
I have a 32 GB iPod Touch and an 8 GB iPod Touch. The 32 will be just fine. Just be selective what movies you want to watch. You can't put a ton on there but I have had up to 15 on my iPod along with a ton of music as well.
Not to hijack your thread, but I am in the market for my second Ipod. My first was the nano that looked like a jump drive. Anyways, what is a good size for music and what not. My wife and I want one that we can bring to tailgating and on trips that will hold enough songs to get us through a 4 - 5 hours road trip since that seems to be the normal length of our trips to see family.
Any help would be great.

My girlfriend has an 8GB touch and loves and and I love it too...I will be buying one once I get the money. My favorite thing about it is all of the applications that are available many for free along with the memory size and access to the internet is nice even though I already have that on my phone.
Before I break this bad boy open, one of these posts got me thinking about the sesasons of Sienfeld, or 24 that I already have on DVD, of the stuff I've wrote to DVD off the TV. Can I rip DVD's on my computer and play them on the I-Pod? And if so what format do I have to do it in?
If you're not already somehow hooked into the iWhatever family, check out a Zune HD. Amazing screen. Can output HD video to your TV through a docking station.
Ripped video size depends on quality of course. I'd say mine are 2-3 GB each for full length (~2 hrs) movies of DVD quality.
