Dir. of Iowa School Board Assoc. put on leave after giving self raise

To the tune of nearly 75%, or $157,000. And keeping it from the Board of Directors.

But what the heck, she clearly had earned it after being on the job about 2 months. :skeptical:

Apparently this lady missed the Romona Cunningham and CIETC story.

How does someone think they could actually get away with something like that? Like "Oh, I'm sure nobody will even notice $150,000".

I just don't know what to say on such a display of stupidity and arrogance....

That was very ballsy of her considering the way the whole CIETEC scandal went down a couple years ago. It looks like the exact same situation.

My thoughts as well.

Not to mention the fact that even though they are private, they are tax-payer funded through dues from the public schools system.

In this economic climate... it's astounding someone would have the guys to do such a thing.

Don't they have cause to can her *** on the spot, what is the point of a leave. And make her give everything back! Rediculous:no:

and it's a "paid" leave at that!
So she is director of a board that oversees school boards??? Her normal yearly salary was $210,000 and she raised it to $367,000...unreal.
