Keep researching, I had my 1 year and one month old RCA LCD take a crap on me last year. I found that they put the wrong size fuse in at the factory, I ended up soldering in the new fuse with a magnifying glass and it works llike a charm. Cost me all of 6 bucks with shipping. Never ever buy an rca anything although they are hard to find now anyway, but avoid at all costs.
My 37" Samsung LCD just started acting up about a week ago. Not good. We'll see how good the Samsung warranty is. It's 3 months old and is just effecting the left side of the screen during certain scenes.
Visitor: I also upgraded the firmware to the latest release
Visitor: I also took it back to factory settings
Lucy M: Oh okay.
Visitor: Anything else I need to try?
Lucy M: No, this seems that the there is an issue with the internal parts of the TV, the unit needs to be serviced.
Lucy M: I see that the firmware is not available on our website, we need to mail it to you to upgrade the firmware.
