"Hey, just heard from this squirrel up the street that the reason JP hasn't bowled in the south end zone yet is because he has secretly been channeling funds to a top-secret research project to revive the zombie brain of John Naismith and implant it in a cloned body of Dolph Lundgren and have him coach the Cyclones. The squirrel knows GIANTS in the men's BB program, so I believe him."
I heard Dan and Johnny Orr were going to be Co-Athletic Directors, and Fred Hoiberg is going to be the new coach. And Marcus Fizer got another year of eligibility.
I like that one! I think I'll believe that one and go with it! (just joking) I think Clyde Williams should join the group as fund raiser though and Jack Trice as Life Skills Co-ordinator!
my old roomates friend is a big donar, and he just told me Dan Mac was on his way to ISU to interview for the athletic director job... jp wants to stay on as a fundraiser, but needs more family time, and wants to step down. i dont really buy it as he thought dikta was going to be our coach, but havt at it! :) this should make for an interesting conversation! :)
As far as ridiculous and out of this world rumors this one is pretty well constructed. I actually almost want to believe it. The whole family thing would make a lot of sense for JP. I, for one, would be kind of disappointed in this if it were ever to actually happen.

I was thinking BS at first as well but then i got to thinking about the thousands of squirrels in this great state. Surely the number of squirrels alone increases the odds of this being true. I mean out of all the squirrels, at least one of them has to have befriended Jamie Pollard. Not to mention, I see squirrles and dogs talking to each other all the time. There's got to be some sort of social network that we aren't aware of yet. That's untapped knowledge right there.
