Nice shout out for Olde Main brewery too. Nice work all!
I was shocked that Wisconsin wasn't number one...
what about me? i drink more than all those sissy states combined.
Looks like there is alot of work to be done. There are a bunch of our surrounding states ahead of us. I think we can step it up!!!
If it wasn't for Templeton Rye, we'd be way higher. We like our liquor too.
When I was younger I could put away the beer.
Now, I can't. It makes me sad. However, I have replaced beer with Tanqueray and Tonic.
I do have to agree with Al_4_State about Templeto Rye. If any of you get a chance to take a tour there, it is well worth the time and trip. Smoother rye you'll never find, and great history behind it as well.
Nice! Now this is something worth bragging about!:biggrin:
Montana #1?? I guess they probably don't have anything better to do there...
there was a recurring theme amongst all those states. The farther away from civilization the more beer you drink apparently.
I think in reality Wisconsin is higher. They should have probably made a few adjustments for a few states.....
Louisiana- I would like to see their consumption without Mardi Gras beer sales included. I bet that makes a huge difference.
South Dakota- makes sense that their in there, because most the non populous northern states are, but I would like to see their consumption without the Sturgis week included. Also, what percent comes from the Black Hills tourists.
Nevada- duh. Don't know how you would include this one with Las Vegas, and Reno accounting for probably 90% of their consumption. Of that, 75% of it is probably people from Iowa, and Wisconsin drinking in Vegas..........
