Re: Grown up Softball guy
The bold you got right. I'm really not "softball guy", but when I play I want to hit and I want to hit well. That desire to hit, leads me to a cage now and again. Everytime I go to a cage to take some swings, the "little league coach guy" hate gets intense. Usually something like, How dare you use the cage next to my field and distract these ten year olds when I am coaching?!?! Or I can't believe you are going to wait until we are done!?!
So my point is, not all people are "softball guy". And I don't think your "little league coach guy," but it did seem there was some hate emitting in the OP
Do you have a Goatee. I have to know if I nailed that part and be honest.
Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.

This thread is slowing down on the stereotypes/assumptions on how people live their lives/why they live it, so if you guys could pick that back up I'd really appreciate it.
Granted, condemning and judging generally makes you a huge fool/*******, but I really enjoy listening to it, so keep it up.

We will get right on that "guy who won't take a side on stuff". and "guy who feels they are better than everyone and probably owns a Toyota Prius".

And I'm with you in laughing at softball guy. Its just all the more fun to laugh at them as your beating them, hence my sensitivity to getting in extra swings at the cage.

Re: Grown up Softball guy
funny how this whole thread kind of got derailed... bottom line: first come first serve, who cares how old/young or good/bad someone is, unless you have it reserved and they are in your time slot when they shouldn't be you have no reason to complain. What next, you going to complain that some fat guy is ahead in line at McDonald's and he needs to let you ahead of him because he doesn't need any more fast food and you are hungrier than he is?

Re: Grown up Softball guy
Honestly, I think being a softball guy/Ed Hardy/Affliction t-shirt wearer goes hand in hand with being a Hawkeye. I don't think we need to worry too much on this site, thank God.

Go to a serious softball game sometime. It's standard operating procedure.

I don't think we need to worry too much on this site, thank God. Normally, I agree with a good old rip on Squawk fan. But, I play softball on a team full of Squawk fans (I'm one of 2 Cyclone fans.) We really make fun of "softball guy" and "softball team". We warm up by playing A-hole and other card drinking games. So obviously don't take it serious, unless we play a team with guys wearing pants, eye black, carrying matching bat bags, etc...

Besides my prius, what else can you tell about me from my previous post?

Yeah, **** those teams that wear pants. This is softball, not the police man's ball.

Yeah I'm with ya. But don't say the persona doesn't fit that of a Hawkeye.
