Happened to me 4 years ago when I was in management at a big time factory. They weren't selling enough product for 3 shifts so I was getting shuffled around for a month between shifts to cover other management vacations and what not. So basically my whole sleep schedule sucked and after the month they laid me and a bunch of people off on a Friday morning.
Best thing that could have ever happened to me.

This isn't meant to gloat or anything like that, but I wanted to add onto this. I'm very fortunate to have a job I enjoy and get paid enough to make a nice living. Hopefully for you this will give you an opportunity to find the same thing.

Hang in there, MC. Although the brass ring has become a bit tarnished - this is still the land of opportunity. Some of the most successful people I know have been failures, often more than once. Keep hustlin'. Good luck to you.

Just to be clear, there was no actual pooping on the bosses desk, even though I might have wanted to. Humor is my only real way to deal with something like this so i was just trying to verbalize what I was feeling. I sure hope this DID happen for a reason, ie; better job, better pay, more security somewhere else..........

I worked in the legal insurance field, providing a legal network of attorneys and legal services for thousands of larger companies and city and county governments all across the country. Essentially insurance work.
