Considering a trip to a resort located in the town of Kapaa on the island of Kauai in Hawaii. Has anybody been there and willing to offer a review?
I've been there a couple of times. Nice island, small but with a lot to do from mountains and canyons to, of course, the beaches and ocean. Elvis did some of his Hawaii movies here. You need to make sure you have a rental car to really see and do what you really want. Also Costco and Wal-Mart in Lihue are the best places to stock up on supplies and souveniers.Quote:

Yep...Waimea canyon and NaPali coast are two must do's.
Pretty quiet island, but beautiful.
Pretty boring Island to be quite honest. Not a lot to do at night. If you are looking to just lounge around and regroup it's a perfect place to go. If you are looking for some excitment then I would go to Maui. It has a little of both worlds.Quote:
