Considering a trip to a resort located in the town of Kapaa on the island of Kauai in Hawaii. Has anybody been there and willing to offer a review?

I've been there a couple of times. Nice island, small but with a lot to do from mountains and canyons to, of course, the beaches and ocean. Elvis did some of his Hawaii movies here. You need to make sure you have a rental car to really see and do what you really want. Also Costco and Wal-Mart in Lihue are the best places to stock up on supplies and souveniers.

We went a few years ago. Do the helicopter tour if you can.

Yep...Waimea canyon and NaPali coast are two must do's.

Pretty quiet island, but beautiful.

Kauai

Pretty boring Island to be quite honest. Not a lot to do at night. If you are looking to just lounge around and regroup it's a perfect place to go. If you are looking for some excitment then I would go to Maui. It has a little of both worlds.
