    We Were Soldiers

    I absolutely HATE this film.

    I think they found a way to make most every scene a tear jerker ...

    In the book, the chapter entitled "The Secretary of the Army regrets" is an incredibly powerful emotional chapter. It spells out in more detail the whole delivery of death notices, and really highlights even stronger the work that Mrs. Moore did in humanizing that process.
