Are the colors Cardinal and Gold?
I hope that there will be a CyCredit stimulus package presented by the ownership before the Derby.
Good luck to the Paddy and his/her Jockey.
So is this the same horse that is owned by Jerry What's his name, owner of the Iowa Energy?
I read in the DM Register a while back that Denny Albaugh is also part owner. The article linked above also states that Paddy O'Prado is on the bubble for the derby. I really don't understand the qualification process. Anyone care to enlighten me?
that's pretty cool. enjoy your mint julep and rediculous hat!
From the DSM Register:
The May 1 Derby is limited to 20 horses with the most earnings in graded stakes races. The $150,000 that Paddy O’Prado earned by finishing second in the Blue Grass gives him $250,950 in graded stakes winnings, which ranks 19th among the nation’s 3-year-olds
Entries are based upon graded stakes earnings. Paddy will be on the bubble, as they will take the top 20 for the derby. Defections or injuries could help his cause. There is usually a derby trial that runs two weeks prior that is the very last chance to get in.
Congrats to the whole team. Can we get a CF field trip to the Derby planned?!?!?!
