Date night

So just sitting here, lookin up some stuff on CF and got to thinking about what peoples most outrageous dates have been. These can be good or bad just thought it would be interesting to hear some stories.

I planned our first big date out one evening (after a few months dating) to go to 801 Grand in DSM. That afternoon I took my then girlfriend on a walk to our favorite spot on campus and had her favorite type of rose waiting for her. After the walk I took her back to her place and left for a couple hours to let her get ready for the big date. When I came back to pick her up I brought a painting of the scene of our spot on campus with the same rose in it that someone we knew made a couple weeks earlier for me. That painting sits on my wife's night stand. She still talks about it from time to time and it brings a smile to her face especially because that "walk" is how I proposed to her a few years later. It will be a hard one for me to top.

My wife and I's first date was an Iowa State basketball game. Things went well that night, and went well in the future!
