Mixed Drinks

Gin definitely isn't for everyone. It's a love/hate thing. I always enjoyed it until one night in Winnipeg where I put down a fifth of Tanqueray in about 1.5 hrs. It was Spring Break 2005, and the results have been captured.

It took about 3 years for me to return to Gin, and I've learned a bit about moderation since I was 19. One of my favorites drinks nowadays.

One of the first hard liquors I was ever exposed to was Southern Comfort straight from the flask during breaks between sets of concerts I sang in so I have a soft spot in my heart for that as well.
A lot of people think its this real "manly" thing to drink straight liquor but I've grown to appreciate most of them and don't think much of it.

Not a whiskey guy but I had a crown & ginger at a Christmas party once & it was awesome....very tasty.

HUGE difference between the taste of Jack and taste of Rum. That difference grows smaller as you get closer to 2am

Southern Comfort and Dr. Pepper or cherry coke. So Co is a really sweet drink which would be great for a beginner.

I'm sorry, you lost me at Spring Break in Winnipeg. Why don't you explain that first, and then we'll get to your fifth of Tanqueray?

DonQ passion fruit rum and cranberry juice..... ahhhh....screw the cranberry juice. Good stuff. Absolute Peach Vodka and lemonade is also addictive.

1) Drinking age = 18 (we were between the ages of 18-20)

2) Free lodging/partying with my cousin

3) Certain chemicals, which have recently been reclassified in this state, are decriminalized.

Gotta love the flask. I remember getting fantastically drunk from a flask full of Rumple Minze at certain former CF owner's wedding.

and IIRC, strip clubs show a little more up north
