Mixed Drinks

OK guys, I'm brand new to the over-21 club and don't know much about alcoholic drinks. In the past couple weeks I've tried Long Island Iced Teas and Kalua and Cremes, and loved them both. Do you have any new drink suggestions for me to try? Thanks.

I've had a drink that was 1 part water and then you add hops and barley, I liked it.

It's not new by any means, but a good Gin & Tonic with a twist of lime cannot be beat in my book. I like Bombay Sapphire Gin the best. By far my favorite cocktail.

Adios Mother****er:

1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz rum
1/2 oz tequila
1/2 oz gin
1/2 oz blue curacao
2 oz sweet and sour
2 oz Sprite\7up

whiskey sour

G&T's are a personal fav. But since it looks like you are going for more flavorful drinks, try a Jeramiah Weed Sweet Tea vodka and lemonade. They call it a John Daly. Really good and you can make them really strong without burning it.

I have never understood this passion for drinking the milk of pine needles.

Bloody Mary's, G&T, and whiskey/water or whiskey/diet are my mixed drinks of choice, but I'm more of a beer guy. As far as beers go that would be accessible for a new drinker, I'd suggest something like Olde Main Dinkey Wheat, Blue Moon, or Leine's Summer Shandy.

I think it's interesting (not in a bad way) that someone waited to 21 to start drinking. I kind of figured if you hadn't started drinking underage, you probably had no interest in it.
