I understand what your saying but there is (even if its small) a difference. I dictator usually comes to power from virtually nowhere where kings inherit their title. Also Monarchies are a strangely stable government where dictatorships are normally short live.

Also, I wouldn't consider monarchs as average joes either.

I don't know how we came to a debate about monarchs vs dictators when the real question remains, how is he going to (cough cough) use a elephant? On second thought don't answer that.

I thought the answer to that was rather self evident.

Mugabe is as rotten as they come. I kept up with the latest Zimbabwe "election" if you want to call it that, and I came away appalled.

Besides remote Amazon tribes, North Korea is probably the farthest removed country from Western culture. It's like the last 50 years never happened. Here's an interesting and frightening series of videos:

I wonder if a super alliance of world dictators have top secret meetings: featuring Chavez, Mugabe, Jong Il, Ahma(dinner jacket), others.

Mugabe managed to turn Zimbabwe from a net exporter of food in Africa to a net importer by destroying their agricultural system.

Zimbabwe home of a piece of paper called "money" printed in units up to 100billion I believe. Talk about hyperinflation.
