Rolling Stone's Top 5 Songs

Re: Rolling Stone's Top 5 Songs
that was horrible. I get you have to hit different genres but you have to have Stairway somewhere in there. Absolutely have to. Otherwise it invalidates your list.
Plus Rolling Stone became worthless to the music scene about the mid 90's.
The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come. -

Without looking I would say Stairway, Hotel California, Imagine, Satisfaction, and Jail House Rock. Not necessarily my favorites, but what I would figure. I guess two of them were right, but can't believe Stairway isn't on there. RESPECT, really?

Plus Rolling Stone became worthless to the music scene about the mid 90's. The editor of Rolling Stone picks a Rolling Stones song and "Like a Rolling Stone" as his top two. Think maybe he's trying to make Rolling Stone the mag relevant again?

No Elvis and no Who. Hard to believe.

Re: Rolling Stone's Top 5 Songs
"Like a Rolling Stone" probably belongs in the Top 5. Otherwise, awful list.

wow...what a joke of a list.

Re: Rolling Stone's Top 5 Songs
Like a Rolling Stone is the only one on that list that is even in the conversation.
Stairway and Baba O'Riley should be there too.

Old news. They released their top 500 songs in 2004. Guess what the top five songs are. Its like this guy just copied and pasted the top five from that one 6 years ago.
Anyway in regards to the list it was ******** then and it's ******** now.
Oh and on that list of 500 stairway isn't even in the top 10.

Re: Rolling Stone's Top 5 Songs
That list HAS to have the Beatles and Elvis on it.
